Established in 1946 Chin Hin which later be named as Woen Min Tat, is where Akinawa originated from. Woen Min Tat, which is also the Founder's name started his Business with only Hammer and Table as his equipment. In the newly Independent Indonesia, Woen Min Tat's Skills in repairing Conrod and many other parts of Engine soon became known by many people. As time passes, three of his Sons helped improve the Business and later started their own Workshops.

In 1982 Liong Yin Woen, or known as Iwan started his own Workshop and named it Apora. Apora offers services for Automotive Engines as well as Spare part production and Trading. 

Akinawa Started out in 2012 by making Tools for the Automotive Industry, as well as for the Aftermarket Services. Ran by the Third generation of the Family, Akinawa strives to do the Best without forgetting who we were and our humble beginning. Akinawa currently focuses on Producing the best quality Tools and Jigs for the Automotive Industry
